Education and Dental Degree

Originally from California, Dr. Hukill moved to Iowa with her family and attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1997.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency

After dental school, Dr. Hukill relocated to Michigan and completed four years of advanced specialty training through the Henry Ford Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. She completed her residency in 2001.

Dr. Hukill holds the distinction of being the first woman accepted into the Oral Surgery Program at Henry Ford Hospital. Her advanced training prepared her to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the teeth, jaws, mouth, face, and related structures.

Board Certification

Dr. Hukill is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Board certification reflects her completion of advanced specialty education and comprehensive examination in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
